phew! finished 3 days of orientationin AJC. and to think i let the first day conclude that the rest of the days would be boring.
but its no way near and my og are as close as buddies now. sniff. haha everything has to end eh? but i heard that our general paper lectures will be together... yessssssssss man!

the first day was just filled with boring talks. then had a few ice breaker sessions, and games. no one really opened up yet, but luckily i said hi to a few ppl and became fast friends. but i did not feel the hype yet, and i never tried to be enthu. i thought that all the cheers were childish and i just could not bring myself to really shout out loud together with the rest. haha met a xinimin as my station master and she kept telliing me to be more enthu to keep up the name of xinmin and whatnot.

(to think i was crazy enough to rush down to the airpot to send joyce and thresa off after my 1 day orientation. i only had less than an hour to rush from yio chu kang to the airpot, but i did it in the end. just in time. i guess im going crazy. but that is just what i like. the hype u get from all the rushing just makes ur blood stir.)

and thats what i did on the second day. i gave up whatever bad feeling i had in my heart and did not give a dam if i looked like an alafer and decided to cheer more loudly and participate more actively in games. haha soon we were more or less interacting with one another already. you can tell how much a person is open to you already when they start calling you by your nick name. i really have to thank damian for giving me that one. had alot of fun with the dance as well. haha im also thankful that in the couple dance my partner was not shy or i would have to be like others whom dont even dare to put their hands together. it all starts with each other man! lol i can say i totally suck at dancing. and in the end my ogl had to give us 'tuition' haha so lame. but it was fun. and that was only the second day.

on the third day edwin brought his camera and had loads of fun taking pics like free. im going to upload them as soon as he uploads them. haha. by now we were all good friends and were making fun of each other. and lol i mistook natilie as a malay a but good thing she played along and said she was a malay that could speak chinese. (actually i knew). so we handed our tee shirt design competition and yea they used my crappy idea for it. hmmmm. ( also i feel that anderson jc is crazy about girls and boys being together. they always say that boys must pair with girls and had alot of games where they say in chinese "go and daringly hug la." especially the water passing games where we look like as if we were kissing each other and they just had to take photos. lolz. ) then it was time for the finale. had 2 bands singing and beatboxing for us and one breakdancer. they also showed us the photo vid and then we had campfires where we danced again... haha after which the days are over. but it was fun nonetheless and we are meeting agian on monday for an outing! haha.

overall i have never felt so enthu in my life b4. the cheers ajc made really rock the house, though i wish they would not keep repeating the "how are you feeling today cheer" and at the last part where we have to cheer for our individual alliance when they say "who is the best in aj?!" the effects are nice at first but it wears out. except for the individual alliance cheers. the effect is just so nice every time. its just becos they are so random.

thank you AJC for starting the new year with a bang. and thank you OGL's for making my first few days in Anderson meaningful. And thank God for giving me the chance to stand out and make friends.
