especially maths. darn i think that even my econs this time will do better than it lol. gp was ok, physics surprising cos i can do most of the qn though i din study much, chem...... heck, but the cool thing was when time up i left 3 qn, then cos i was looking at one of them when time was up and it looked like the same qn, that i discussed with zj the day before, with same compunds and answers and everything. so i guessed a. and it turned most ppl also got that. well for the last 2 qn, i jus put my classic C for every mcq i dunno how to do. and turn out the last 2 ans most people put is C and C!!! super duper lucky. bt dun think it will help pull up the crappy paper 2 and 3.

i got so many things to post before the exam that i cant start yet - cos have to go study lol. well shall rant abit about prelims.

procrastination. the number one killer for exams. others may like to call it lack of motivation, lost of heart, game distraction, computer addiction, but. it all falls under the same catagory. see if this is familiar for any of u.

u plan to study 2 weeks before exams and even drew up a schedule. u follow it for the first day. and then the second day, u decide to rest abit and make up for it the next day, proceeding to do ur procrastinating stuffs. ( even though it dosent appeals to u ).
hence the procrastinating and re-procrastinating effect will continue till the days left to the exams are negligible or none. this will lead to a drop in grades by a multipled amount, where the multiplier K is 1/MPP where MPP us the marginal propensity to procrastinate. ( ok im crapping again )

another thing is the "Go Out N study for Exams." syndrome. ( GONE for short ). many of u will agree the more frens u study together with ( for me at least ) the more we will end up doing stupid things instead. one of the stupid things is taking each others hand phone and taking piuctures of stupid things.

and even got the time to switch off all the lights, and simulate a "blackout study environment" where we did work with only the light of the GC.
thus Dd/Dt = o. studying is at minumum point.

and then there is the occasional sms from a fren that throws u off course of ur studying totally. this is the message i had with zi jun who wanted to go lan before september holidays, while i was studying for econs.

K: wan go lan tmr then bring shirt.

Zi: wa not confirm then i bring extra weight for what.

( i then decided to throw in my econs concepts )

K: no opportunity cost in bringing wad.

Zi: got. the costs on my back ache.

K : NO. the benefits of a potential CS match outweighs your costs, and society values a lan match more than what u would cause to produce it.

Zi: wads the externality?

K: ai ya, if u dun bring your clothes, we cant trash u. there will be a fall in demand for lan. it will cause unemployment and the lan shop will have to reduce output and employ less workers. the effect will continue.

Zi: but my back hurt cant work for country.will affect potential growth.

K: wa. if u dun bring ur shirt, and add weight to ur bag, there will be a dead weight loss.

Zi: lol la nvm i go watch tv.

time management is the last thing. gah especially for AQ. all the time prac i left abt 15 mins only for it and i will any how write. got one time i write until i say that kids being exposed to sex is beneficial. got 2 marks for that lol.
