Friday, November 28, 2008  well im here to tok abt obs from 17th nov to 21st nov! it was a really fun and tiring time and got to meet a whole group of people whom are close to a clique now! must say, 5 days was enough for a bond to be formed. too bad since we cant bring phone to obs, there was no picture taken and we only have one pic to remind us of that event.  and that was when we did not even know most of each other yet ;(yea so first day nothing much, except for rock climbing which was rather tiring. darn cant get to the top of the wall. bt it was rather high, around 5 stories? anyways ying ying was the only girl to make it to the top (cheater ask us to pull u up. ) gah dam lao kui. for day 2 did some kayaking practices at camp 1. wa camp 1 much more heaven compared to camp 2 nia. wa bt we had to kayak in a dam filthy water comparable to a super dirty monsoon drain. (btw kayak is spelt same back to front). the water is oily gah and the water tastes like.... well i din even dare to swallow. did some capsizing drills and the deep water one was the worst. haha lisa and rui lin took dam long cos i did not notice that their kayak was stuck on my kayak and had a long time rescuing them. from fisrt grp to last :( we also had some jetty jumping its qute fun except i landed face first and was quite pain eh. also had some cool confidence tunnel thing, wa it was dam shoik to feel how it is to be blind and be stuck in a tunnel with the rest of ur other blind frens. maybe that was wad brought us together. next day was sea expedition. nothing to say only very sian and disappointed. bt managed to finish it though, and went to the very "romantic" campsite near the beach. the next day was land expedition and thanks brian for being the orange peeler. went up to the quarry to look and it was super nice la. shouted all sorts of nonsense and we could hear it echo back. did alot of self reflection and leadership building skills bt the funniest thing was the joharis window model, where ur grp mates have to write good and bad things abt u. (one good one bad each). wen i took mine back came across a rather funny comment, for the negative side of me : )  lol. (i think i know who wrote it) and pls ying ying im not dirty minded ok its u all who started the dirty jokes in the first place! : ) after reaching mainland we went to play cs and it turned out to be quite fun! jeremy cs pro liao la. and yue an turned out to be quite good cs player for a girl. as for me, i jus take shot gun and camp lo. sry cs noob here. more outings pls new found obs mates!

Wednesday, November 26, 2008 well just back from cca chalet and had a rather fun and enjoyable time there. (sorry obs mates!) will blog more about it as soon as i get the pics. in the mean time just wanted to share with u something i read today. well came back after cca and decided to on comp (as always) but this time, i did something different (instead of dotaing like many of u would have expcted). i went to wikipedia and started reading some interesting physics stuff. (nope im still not a mugger) it all began wen i heard about stephen hawkins and his brilliant mind so decided to take a look at some of his theories for kicks. and since i did not know whr to look, wikipedia came into mind. i came across this article, about time travel, and it offered loads of cool ideas on how to travel through time. though they kept explaining things like if u travel at the speed of light then come back you would have aged less, i still cant really understand it (not that i want to). yea so after reading the whole thing ( i din actually read i jus browse though) i came across this last sentence. Another factor is that for all the time travel devices considered under current physics (such as those that operate using wormholes), it is impossible to travel back to before the time machine was actually made.[41][42] (wikipedia, article on time travel) and i felt kinda sad after reading it u know. ( i wonder if u all did too) its like all the things that you have done is really done, and there is no way u can go back and relieve it. i had alot of activites this week and would really like to relieve them again, but as the statement said, we cant. for the people who also felt sad after reading the sentence as well, its kinda funny how we know that time has passed and we cant relieve it again, but only feel sad about it only when we read about it. perhaps it was me, reading about time travel, and making it so real, thinking that somehow, in the future u can visit ur past again, and thus splash u with cold water with that last sentence. well i guessed wads passed is past , and we should all live on.

Saturday, November 22, 2008  ah sry akf too long cos went to outward bound singapore! it was really fun and tiring but will blog about it another day.well back to my birthday a week back. thanks to all the 20 plus people who sent me smses and emails wishing me! (surprisingly xinyi was the first) thanks all who remembered! u will all be in my hearts for time to come! bt the ones i must thank most for making my day is none other than the dear 2708. they were the best. after my exco meeting in sch i went to meet up with them to watch madagascar 2 (it opened on my birthday!). it was a really funny show u all should go and watch it. then afterthat took pics in front of the cinema lol.  during the credits. (they gave me an adidas shoebag thanks!) well just wen i was abt to go back and have dinner they suddenly told me that edmund, jasmine, kerby, xr and jj were on the way to meet us. hmm ok then decided to have dinner with them. ( sorry had to pangseh iy for dinner 2708 asked me out first sorry! ) jasmine and edmund actually pon their cca training just to come la. wa so touched then wen they arrived they sang a song for me , in the middle of the vivo square so cool : ) supposed to go to some resturant to eat but it was very crowded so we decided to da pao and eat at the stairs at the vivo square! like dat also easier to talk cock rather than sitting in a rectangle table and be only able to chat to the one sitting next and the side of u. took loads of pics in the process.  lol ths pic was taken 4 times cos jon dam kiasu. the public photographer mus be pek cek lol. after that edmund and kerby disappeared for dam long then later came back with an ice cream cake! edmund is usually dam stone and dis enthu about everything and seeing him suddenly become enthu, for ur birthday somemore really makes u feel touched. so went back to swensens becos ed forgot to buy knife and we ate there and took alot of pics still. thank you 2708 for making the day so special. here are some pics.     " one of the advertisments in the cinema was about adidas and how adi will have made something special for u in ur life. in this case, adi made something for me to remember my precious friends forever. " also recieved alot of other cool gifts, like a lava lamp from my uncle, and an electronic english dic from my auntie thathas alot alot of functions and many more. gosh thanks alot! they sang it 5 times. i counted. cos every song was special.

Wednesday, November 12, 2008  long time since i posted but must say something for the record. Project Work is over and History! ya so its been 8 months of deprived sleep, tons of drafts, and rehersals, one whole ink cartridge of printing, fustration and meetings, leading up to the OP (oral presentation) part of our project. had many rehersals and finally our group pulled it off very well for the resentation part, surprisngly every single thing went well. ( ok maybe except for louis Q and A part) and im actually abit confident that we all can get A. must be the wonderous support we gave one another before stepping up in front of the teachers, whispering "Jia You." at every opportunity avaliable. PROJECT NOOB WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING WITHOUT THESE PEOPLE.  from left to right: Jasmine : wonderful juggler between her trainings and PW! Me: who else? Oswell : supreme ideas for our game and our animator! Jon : wonderful entertainment + jokes! Louis : the one we can all trust! im not going to miss pw, however im going to miss our meetings that we all had these past few months and the funny gossip sessions we all had. from the gpp stayover at my grandma's till the last op rehersal at zhao qin's house, it has started and ended in the best way.

yea so kudos to pw and back to the present. haha as mentioned b4 our last op rehersal was a combined rehersal with zhao qins group. haha dam fun la, ended up playing more than rehersal. ( it always happens ) did loads of silly stuff, but broke one of zq's bottles. oops. super sorry zq. yea so after op we all went for the healthy lifestyle carnival at Kallang. haha fis went to try out some rodeo simulation and got injured -.- healthy indeed. its super difficult to hold on la. ppl go up, and 5 sec later got thrown off le. i managed at best to hold on for about 30 sec, then still go thrown off. to get a chop, we need to hold on for 1 min??? imba la.no one ever got the chop. scraped my leg real bad and cant do much of the other activities. sian. wad a starter.
zhi jian got thrown off as well. super crazy la the (fake) bull. wanted to play some soccer but it had to be all girls or all guys team. and since joer din come the girls had one lack. and the guys who were playing were too gosu le cnfm play aginst them sure die.  anyways, it was a fun time. hmm also cip is drawing to a close. haha had fun though, and even watched the other people build some green robot.  also had a plesant surprise from damian who actually treated me to a movie and cake as he could not make it for my birthday. so cool la. thanks alot damian! for the card as well! next went to kallang leisure centre for another dinner wit my relatives. wa the place super glam la. and the food quite nice also.
ps. my baby cousin is super cute la. one look at him and u cnfm become padeophile. b4 cca today was with jason and he was looking at our class play basket ball, and he said " wa ur class so swang everyday play basket ball, my class not like dat. " and made me think, im actually in quite a bonded class. rarely do you see classes that go out and eat together as a group, and play sports together. even though the majhority are guys, the girls are still mix around with us. its more like a class cum clique. and im thankful for that. we started some pokemon card craze and we all brought our cards and played. kinda reminds me of sec sch wen we started the gameboy craze. "some say sometime or rather you have to grow up, but we think its OKTO remain young forever." and next is the dota fever! we now have enough players (10!) to play an in house 5 v 5 match! haha even xiao rong is learning how to play dota. aim for next years dota comp ppl! basket ball craze and neopets craze are also some of the other craze that our class is into now. i just wanted to stand up and clap.

Monday, November 03, 2008  yea so just finished my chinese A level and i dun feel much for it. its mroe of like in the middle of everything ba. just hope can get a B. so b4 the exam tired to ?study chinese? with old xinmin frens. haha bt ended up being more of a reunion instead. dam funny la keep toking cock and koping the tables of mac. well then had 2 sessions of pool with 2708, not bad even thou i nv play for dam long still have the touch. went to watch HSM 3 after chinese A level and wa its tok cock la, we kept laughing wen they suddenly started singing. bt i think the cheorography kinda cool. well op coming up finally hit an ee man. good luck to all taking op and jia you project NOOB.! can i have this last hit?
