Wednesday, September 26, 2007 what is the meaning of mug? how does it relate to studying anyway? many people says mug mug mug. what i say? gum. ya. maybe its because people have a mug in front of them when they study, so they call it mug.(hmm why then why isnt it a glass then?) while me, likes to have a gum in my mouth when im studying. so if ya stressed, u can chew harder. and i wonder. do people really mug when they say they will? i dont think i will when i say gum. well. its o level time and we really need to mug or gum or whatever that word is.  phew. a dam freaky week passed. and a dam freaky exam passed.(in both sides of the meaning). after 2 weeks of high anticipation and much wrong information on moderation, i am proud to say i did much better this time than in the mid year. at least now i have more jc's to choose from. but i still cant get into my beloved school, victoria junior college. and just a few points short too! argh. well, thanks to the teachers of xinmin for giving us mercy this time around and setting much easier papers for a start. and thanks to all who were together with me while i was studying. and thanks to my ever great mrs teo for finding 2 marks for me in my chem paper to push that b3 to a a2. thanks. (honestly she is a really good chem teacher. i dont think i would jump by 3 grades if it wernt for her.) well im not going to disclose my l1R5, cos this blog is public and such, if u want to know, u can ask me. but it is less than half of my mid year's l1r5. thank God for it too. now however, another problem has arised. which jc should i go to? all the good jc's are 10 and below (yes i did not get 10 or below) and all the rest are about 16 to 20, it would be a waste if i go there. the jc's seem to be wanting to be either really good or bad. where is the jc's that cater to the mid scorers? hey hey! well, i wont say im going to mug , or i would be lying, but i am going to study harder, so combine with the fact that o level would be easier than the prelims, i would be even more prepared, and hopefully be less careless, maybe, just maybe, i can half my score once more and get to victoria. (its near a beach for goodness sake! i can go cycling everyday and watch the sunset. shoik!)

Sunday, September 16, 2007 3 pracs over, and disappointed in 1. ok make that 1 and a half. pracs are like listening compre, and if u dont get over 85% in it is really wasted. well, since annie ng said our whole level did badly anyways, i dont think even getting full marks in practical would matter. the last prac was on friday, and after that had to go to champions night. was very very wishy washy if we should go or to pon it, but in the end i went, cos staying at home would be boring anyways. so ya, the wole thingy started 15 mins late, but ended 1 hour early. talk about poor time management. haha i even took apart my throphy the minute i got it. i mean it was really asking for it. the screw was loose by the time i got it, and by the time i sat down, the glass piece was on my lap and the wooden block was on the floor. after that made a last minute decision to go to a concert with my fren, after the champions afternoon. we thought we were late, and we were right. we were 50 mins late. who could blame us, it was at NTU at boon lay. takes hours even on taxi. anyway, the tickets were free, and i cant complain. it was a concert my the tiwanese band, ying tao bang, or cherry boom. i'll bet most of you have not heard of them b4 rite? here is their poster to maybe help you recall, u should have seen it it magazines before.  we heard only 4 of their songs, as we were late, but was let in anyway. surprise! its a nice concert, but it would be better if all the 4 girls sang instead of just one. i will try to find their songs and put on this blog,(veri hard now since of all their copyright rules) or maybe i would use my brother's book prize to get the cd. (ho ho so bad...). anyways they also gave us free swensens icecream so it wasnt so bad NTU is a really nice school, i may want to go there in the future (if i can...)

Sunday, September 09, 2007 there is always some isnt there? just when i said i would not watch another movie, i got an invite to evan almighty.  haha bought such a huge popcorn tub that cannot finish, cant even eat dinner after that. after that went to games convention asia. so shoik all the new games and even had a counter strike competition with a girl as one of the champions. haha so funny. there was even one person who kena flash bang still can kill the person. thats so sweeet. and i think i know wad my year end job would be. i want to work for asia soft! at least i can get their cool shirt... haha. i cant believe i actually studied during the holidays. haha. hope against hope i can go victoria jc now... if only i did not screw up my geog paper 2, id be celebrating now... holidys are ending, but the week ahead seems to be only filled with practicals, hah. so good. trying to get full marks for chemistry practical, ever since my friend showed me its possible...just have to be a tad more observant to change that 37 to a 40!

Monday, September 03, 2007 3 movies in 3 days! haha so lame. dun think will be watching anymore movies till the end of o levels now. must control! haha and also saving up for my dear ps3. 1. jay chou's secret.  sad never watch this with a girl, or else will be more fun. anyways, i thought this movie was something in real life till sotmehing came along and made it pure fiction.( won't spoil it but the movie IS ending soon). well sometimes the best cant be bought. nice film anyways, reminded me of death note. and yep, learning how to play most of the songs on piano. 2. the bourne ultimatum wa haha. this kind of show i like, living the life of a fugitive. and this guy is like osama like dat. cannot die one. anyways its said that u have to be quick to understand the story. i did. watched this with my father and bro, was faster to discover to discover the plot. FUN! watch it. 3.hair spray. wathced this today with class mates after chem practical. no idea why i watched this anyway, but i think im too bored. anyways its quite funny (its an inside joke) and how the way they kip singing song for no reason. yesterday was my grandma birthday. happy 79th! we went to the peach garden at the 30th floor of the ocbc building. really nice food, especially the wasibi siew-mai. perfect. and the view is really nice, though i prefer last year, we had a dinner at the 70th storey of some building cannot remember. a few days ago was a comp fair and i upgraded my already 19 inch screen to 20 inch. i dont get it. my fateher bought it and im not even a hardcore computer gamer YET. any ways, i have 2 screens in front of me now, making it easy to watch youtube and blog at the same time. and the resolution also makes the fonts real small, so i have enlarged it a bit. if it is too big for other screens out there, do tell. cya, and i think i will mug TOMOROW. afterall, why do today what u can do tomorow? P.S. please pardon the spelling. im typing very fast. got things to do and so little time.
